English Language Challenges

I love the English language, and i feel that is important to learn it because who knows if one day you will have to travel to USA, UK, or England? … But it is important also recognize that in those countries the English is not the same because everyone has a different form to talk English.

I feel that I am more familiarized with the English of USA, because of the movies, series or programs that I see on TV are from USA.. And I also feel that that English is easier to learn because the words are not too complicated to learn, for example in USA you say elevator and in UK you say lift.

The use of blogs has helped me to get better in my English because every week I have to work in this, so I’m not disconnected with the English.

Obviously , I wasn’t born in an English country so my English is not too good, but I feel that I can get better interpreting words from Spanish to English .. for example see programs in Spanish with subtitles in English, and also English to Spanish. The best method to learn English implies that learning be not so boring and dull.

I can say that every day I am more familiarized with English for example when I listen to music ,  I can say that I prefer the English music than a Spanish music although I don’t understand the phrases in the most of the song.

The English right now is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and nobody says that in the future It will not be the number one. 

Holidays ...

First of all , I only want that will be december right now because is the month that tells me that the academic year has finished. I am not thinking in what things I will do in the summer, but I believe that I will go to the beach with friends , that is a typical travel for people like us. I will also have to work because I need the money so that I can travel to Santiago in March, and I also want buy me some clothes , or go to another city, I don’t know … I believe that if you want to give yourself a good holiday you will need  money and the only form that I can get it is working, at least for a month.

I would like to travel to other countries in my holidays , for example USA, Mexico, Spain , France , Japan … that’s will be a good vacations for me .. but I have to accept the reality and I have to wait at least 6 years more to have such travelings.

With my best friend we are thinking in going to “Pichilemu”, I don’t like that beach because is boring to me going always all the summer. We are thinking in going to other places too but it is along time to go.

Right now , it is important to pass all the courses and finish this year with the best smile J

Adiction and Drugs

I think that everybody have an adiction for example play videogames , listen to músic , the social networks , etc.. and that its normal because are things that make us happy and that relax us ..  but nowadays , for me, the addiction has another meaning because the “relaxing” comes from any thing that can do this action … in simple words .. drugs.

In my life , I can say that I have tried the cannabis , because is a drug very common nowadays. You can walk in the street and you can see the people with that drug. I also can say that the cannabis is a drug that only can affect you in the mind , because you believe that you are addicted with that drug and that is not like that. You can feel like more relaxing , sleepy ( in some cases), you smile for everything and that’s can “help you” to be out of the reality like the university, works, exams , etc.  

I think that one like human can know when its time to stop , because if you continue you will want to know more drugs and that can be more dangerous .. for example … in the last time have been discovered a drug called “ the zombie drug” .. the name of the drug can tell you how do you feel when you try it. 

                                      

Postgraduate in clinical pharmacy :P

In my two years of career , think about my graduation is something that I still feel too far, I believe that I will finish my career in 5-6 years more, but since that I started my career I also thought in what I would like to do when I graduate.

I would like to get a diploma in clinical pharmacy, because this is my area of interest. I would like to be more “expert” in that area.

The subjects that I would like to study are oncology and emergencies because in the future I would like be seen like a doctor.

I would like to follow graduate studies in Chile or in other country where English or Spanish is spoken, if is in USA I would go in 1 second ja ja because in that country are all the things that you need.

I would like to study in part-time courses because I would like to work in a job as long as I am studying.

The program of postgraduate that offers the university of Chile is interesting because you don’t need only the professional degree of pharmacist, you will need knowledge of English to read scientific documents.

The things that I don’t like of this program that offers the university is that if the program doesn't  have more than 10 people enrolled the program can skip the postgraduate.

My job in the future

I have stayed in various jobs, for example i worked in harvest of apples , pears and grapes, I can say that this is the job most difficult because you have to work under the sun. 

I believe that when I graduate in my career i will leave that job for a job that makes me more happy and more comfortable.

I would like to work in a clinic because  I like to help the people , that is the principal área where i would like to work. I imagine that would be a good job , you can meet people, know about their lifes and their needs.

I think that my job will be principally in indoors, but i would like to work in different clinics or hospital , so i would not be only in one place.

I would like to travel in my job because i like to travel, and i would like to help people of other places of the country , and why not of other countries.

The salary of that job is very good, i dont know the salary of that , but i believe that is avobe of $1M, so for one person is a good salary, i wouldn’t have to pass needs.

But this will pass in 5 years more , so i will have to wait, finish my career and get other Jobs for the summer.

Hobbies = Happiness :P

My hobbies: P

In my life i have a lot of hobbies … I believe that the best hobbies is be with your friends because the time passes faster , but I want to tell you what I do when i am in free time.

First of all I want to consider like a hobby my favorite anime of all my life that is Pokémon , since that I was a child I saw the first season in TV and since that moment I haven’t stopped seeing the series. Right now I’m seeing the season that is being transmitted in japan and that now is starting to be transmitted in Chile. I’m a fan of Pokémon and I consider it a hobby for me J

My second hobby is being with my friends. This hobby is important to me because I am disconnected from the university, they are very important to me because it makes me feel good. In the free time we cook, see movies, go to the park, watch the nocturne serie “Perdona nuestros pecados” xD and many more things.

For me the word hobby means happiness, something that makes me happy and is for that reason that I put that two things that I do like a hobby. For me all the things are hobbies but studying, which I would never consider a hobby jajaja. 

The Skin

I believe that the people looks better with the skin above of our body, for one moment imagine all the people without this …  how would be have only the muscles and the blood to our view… would be so weird , for that reason I chose the skin.

The skin is the largest organ in the human body and act as a protection of the organism, this organ it is subdivided into layers: epidermis, dermis and hypodermis.

It obviously to say that the location of this organ in our body is... All the body, since our head to our feets we have skin.

There´s a lot of illnesses that we can have and alter to this organ for example the Atopic Dermatitis, this illness affect mostly to children in the firsts years when born. The principal symptom is a rash that is located in the arms and can be treaty avoiding the soap and other irritants.

To keep healthy this organ and avoid illnesses we have to use blocker when there a day with much sun … or always when we see or feel something weird in our skin we have to go to hospital and                                                           consult to one medic. 

The best Concert :P

In the Blog of today I will talk about Concerts...  The best Concert that I was ever

This happened the last year, on the first week of October... I remember that day like yesterday because it was the best experience in my life...  I was seeing and listening to my favourite band in the “Movistar Arena”... That band is Aerosmith.

This band was born in Boston, USA,  is a popular band of classic rock that was made popular in the 70’s with his big song called “Dream on” … years later songs like “Crazy”, “I don’t want to miss a thing”, “Cryin” was sounding in all the radios in the country.

I love that band since I was a child...  I think that my mother transferred that love for the rock classic to me because she told me that she listened to that kind of music when she was pregnant.

The atmosphere in the concert was so amazing; I went to do the queue at 12:00pm because I wanted to get the best place ... so I had to wait about 5 hours in the queue to that the bodyguards open the doors... That part was amazing because when I was entering I started to run to be in that place... The photos that I will put say how I was in that moment.

I felt in another place, in another city, I was listening to my favourite band!! I cried, I sang … I will never forget that day.

They will be back in September of this year to Santiago with “guns n roses” … I would like to go but I believe that I couldn’t go for money..  but that is not a problem to me because I made my dreams come true the last year . 

A country i would like to visit ...

There two countries that i would like to visit, and are U.S.A and/or China but in this blog I will talk about USA.

The things that I know of USA are that is the principal country in the world and that all the people in the planet know something about USA. In this country there are so many places to visit for example New york , Miami , Washington , Boston ( in that place my favourite band was born)

I would like to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Ok , I am 19 years old but is a wish that I have since  I was child. Or the other place that I would love to visit is “The Simpsons Ride” in Orlando Florida because is like to be in Springfield!!!.

I would have liked to study in USA because is a country that I like since childhood and I hope one day I travel to that country, is a wish that I have.

I’m not saying that Chile is a bad country, but in a future I would like to live in USA.

Final Post !!

In this semester the experince that I had with this activities were so good , because I think that this that we did helped us to get better in the english.
Other thing that I think is that the blogs weren't borring ( except for the blog that we had to have a person that admir , that doesn't like me ) , we could express our thoughts in this page and also know the toughts of other persons.
When we started this semestrer I believe that nobody could write 50 words in 5 minutes , this course helped us to get better in this area because every week the number of words were growing and that was converting in a new challenge.
The things that I would include in this work will be blogs were we dont have to write something so "academic" or "educational" .. for example between one blog were we have to talk about music and another were we havce to talk about history ... obviusly that is more entertaining the blog about music.
In the course of " English 3" more than learn , I got better in my skills of writting and this will help me in the future when i need to write something of "pharmacy" in English

My travel to Puerto Montt :P

Hello everyone

Today I want to tell you about my favourite travel and I thing that I will always remind, so ... It’s when I traveled to Puerto Montt with my family :3 these days were amazing for me .. maybe because my dad and my mom are trying to be together again (that’s makes me so happy).

The experience that I was taking for the first time was fly in airplane ... I was so so so nervous and exciting because i never thought that my dad could give us that travel. In airplane was only 1 hour since Santiago to Puerto Montt, but the travel to comeback was in bus and were 12 hours!! But that doesn’t important because the 4 days that I was in that city were beautiful.

We went to Angelmo, Puerto Varas (that city is like to be in Germany), “Petrohue jumps” and to Chiloe Island

The weather in that place was so weird because to 5 pm starts to darken and I never see a person with Umbrella because the rain is only for a few minutes and then disappear.

But right now, we are in the 15 week ... so it’s time to prepare the things that comes.

The subject that i loved this semester

Okay , I thought that with the experience that I had in the last year with maths I would never love maths again .. buuut the statictis appeared in my life xD , mmmm I dont know if I like this course because I understand that the teacher say , or if it's because in my course we are only thirty persons, or maybe because in the A test I was very good jajaja but that is ,  the statictis is the course that I liked in this semester.
This course is theoretical and we are in the class 2 hours and 30 minutes absorbing a lot of information. The contents that we have seen in this course is:

-Descriptive statictis
-Probabilities
-Random variables
-Confidence Intervals
-Hypothesis Test

And a lot more information

What do i do in class?? In the first 30 minutes my eyes close automatically, that is to say , I'm sleepy so I always ( when only I have the money ) drink a coffee to wake up. How I am in the first row I understand better :)

Mmmm person that admire ??

Okay , First of all this topic was the most difficult right now because I don't visit a website related to my career and personally I admire nobody :/ but I put this guy because he is the first one that told the next phrase : " Matter is neither created not destroyed, only transformed " , the name of this scientific was Antoine Lavoisier.

He was a chemist, biologist, and an economist too. He is considered the creator of "modern chemistry" for all the studies that He did about the oxidation in body.
Mmmm I "admire" him because if He hadn't proposed this theory about that the matter only is transformed , all the things that we have learned would have been mistaken.


One of the things that have made him famous  in the world is the recognition that have done the people to this man. For example his name is put in the "Eiffel tower" with other scientists too. "Moon crater Lavoisier " is called like this for his memory and the " Asteroid ( 6826) Lavoisier " was also named on his memory. 

My favorite movies/series

For this post I will talk about my favorite movie and serie :)





First of all I want to tell you my favorite movie... turururu .. and it's SPIRIT!
Okay , it's a movie that already is old but I would watch it all the time because it's a beautiful and exciting movie . This movie is the only one that made me cry, maybe because I was a child but I believe that if I would see it again I would cry :( if you haven't seen it, you have missed half of your life :/

Well, I believe that I don't have to put "turururu" because in my direction of my blog is put the name of my favorite series xD ... yes .. it's Pokemon :P
I have been watching this series since I was 3-4 years old , my mother told me that she left me in the bed watching this series because it made me happy :) I love all of this series , the animation , the pokemons :P , the idea of that you can catch one in a pokeball xD , and it's an amazing series. Right now is giving the season 20 in japan and I'm watching it in youtube with subtitles.

In this photo I am with my two best friends :P .. I met these girls at the school , one in primary and the other in secondary. They´re Javiera and Ana and are all for me :). This photo was taken in the first march that we went together and was taken by me . This photo is special for me because we look so cool ajajaja but when we were in "Republica Station" that wasn't cool  because the tear gas was bad for me :( ,the march had finished for me.

The second photo that I like it so much is when I was in the 

"starbucks" with my cousin. This photo was taken by her in the first week of may in this year, and is special because she is the only person of my family that is in Santiago and is complicated to get together for the studies of each one and also because she lives with her grandma in other district of Santiago :( so when I am with her is like if I was in my house :) . 

My favorite piece of technology

I think the best thing that has been invented in this world are the headphones.

I am a person that loves music, so when I listen music I do it with headphones … but this thing is not used only for music. You can use headphones to listen anything that “obviously” have audio, maybe to see a series, see TV shows (from the cellphone), and in other things to.

I use the headphones in my cellphone and in my computer, but you can use it to for a MP3, MP4.7

I don’t remember when I had my first headphones, maybe when I had my first cellphone to

When I want to listen anything from my cellphone, I use headphones. and I always do it.

The headphones help you because with this you are the only person that listen the audio that comes from the source (computer, cellphone, etc) and is for that I like it.

If this thing doesn’t exist…. Mmmm… I don’t know , I think that you couldn’t listen the things that you like because the person that is next to you would angry and would tell you that stop the music. 

My hobbies

In mi life a have a lot of hobbies , for example if i am alone in the departament (because my friends are in the university) i like inside in the world of pokemon .... don't believe that i start to shout like a crazy man PIKACHU I CATCH YOUU!! nooo no ajjajsja i start to see the serie in my computer, or play the game of Pokemon carts online ..I'm a very fan of pokemon and i think that i always will be, that things help me to pass the time :)

When i am with my friends is completely different because we always do funny activities , for example we play cards ( yeah i passed to play pokemon cards to play other game of carts, pff ), but this is more funny because i laugh so much with them.

Other of my hobbies is go to the cinema, i believe that i go five times in the month, the last movie that i saw is "madre" ( chilean movie ) and i recommend you because is amazing and dramatic.

Finally i started to see a serie in netflix with my friend called "Orange is the new black" , and I believe that will be other of my hobbies see it xD . 

Why did i choose this career?

Since my childhood i always loved the English, i believed that one day i will be a teacher of English... I think that everyone see to our teacher like a good option to be a professional.
Since the secondary this thoughts were dissapearing... i started to think in an idea, other option or maybe leave the time to pass, but i realized that the mine is the scientific.
In courses like maths and chemistry had good califications, but specifically i saw my future in an health area.. because all the professionals that work in this area have a good appreciation by the public. I chose this career thinking in my teacher, in the secondary the classes of chemistry were amazing for me, my teacher had a good method of teaching that liked to me. I understood all, and if i didn't undertand somethings she helped to me... So, how i saw that the chemistry were some easy for me ,important to learn and also liked me to much I included the chemistry like other area for my future.
Finally I had to Areas to choose: the chemistry and the health. I looked careers of chemistry and others of health, but nothing convinced me until finally found the career that i was looking, that had some of chemistry in the health area.. the career of chemistry and pharmacy

The last year i tried to my mother to meet the faculty, she is proud of me, and i love her with all my heart.

  

My Autobiography :)

My name is Nicolás Patricio Bustamante Quintanilla, i was born on march 31th 1998. My mother and my father only had one son .. i dont know why , when i was young i always wanted to have a sister or brother , but now this is more imposible because my fathers are not together .. was an difficult stage of my life .. but for me this is in the past and i have to carry on. My mother is Alejandra and my father is Patricio. 

I lived all my life in El Tambo , a town between San fernando city and San vicente city , its a rural town and all is calm, not like Santiago. 

I live only with my mother in a near house of the grandpa's house. In the house of my grandpa lives my aunt( that is like my second mother ) , my cousin ( that is like my sister ) and my grandpa that right now is 78 years old.. . we are 5 cousins but i know that i am the favourite of my grandfather .. its a beautiful relation that i have with my father and i would die if i lost him.. his name is Fernando.

In regard to my studies .. i studied my primary and secondary in almenar's school. other difficult stage of my life was that .. leave my school where i grew up .. i was selected by my teachers and the director like "banner holder", also like the almenar's boy and i read the "letter of farewell", that moment was so emotionally and i went prizewinner like the best of english's class and also of music's class. Since that moment i was giving a big jump to the other stage, the university. i always wanted to study chemistry and pharmacy in university of chile, the psu test was hard because in languaje was bad.. in sciences was parcial and mathematics was good, the only thing that helped to me to enter in this university was the "ranking". I love my career , but i have to say that was hard to pass the firsts asignatures .. maybe because i was leaving my family for first time ... and i didn't go to any classes for that reason,,, but now i feel me an indepent man... this is my second year in this university and i will be for a lot of years. 

In my free times i like to go to the cinema, if i have a test tomorrow i left to the night but first i have to see a movie jajaja. I like listen to music , about all the 80's and 90's music in english... rock classic is my favourite type of music but i dont have to deny that also listen romantic music, reggaeton, pop, pfff in my mind i have a salad of music. The music is my moment to be relax.

The thing that i would like to add is that i am a fan of the anime "Pokemon" , since that i was born i see this serie ... i love it , i dont know why , i like the videogames that there of this serie. When i was young i imagined a world of pokemon jajaja

Yesterday i was in a bus going to lunch , and behind of me was a mother with her daughter and talked about the other daughter that the mother has, and i listened that she is pregnant and she has less than 16 !! , and the father of the baby don't study and the family don't approve him. In mi opinion I disagree with this because a girl that has less than 16 and will be mother is bad and irresponsible .. what happens with the future of the girl and the baby?? the girl will have to leave the studies for start to work ?? and if the father is absent ,, a girl of 16 years could rear a baby alone ?? I think that to start helping a baby to grow ... first lets finish to grow us.

My expectations for this semester

My expectations are a lot of things , for example pass all the asignatures , because the last semester was horrible , with 3 exams , but that is in the past ... i hope also be more strong when i have to travel since my house and leave to my family , but in general i think that this semester will be the best that i had .. and will be it! 😃
